Breathing

Feta is coming up to the surface of the water to breathe. Sea turtles are reptiles and need air. They cannot exchange gases with the surrounding water like fish do!

Foraging

In this clip, Feta is not directly eating, but is instead searching for food.

Swimming

Feta is swimming! Notice Feta’s flippers are built for swimming and not crawling. This is different from land turtles, which have legs and feet. Sea turtles spend a lot of their time swimming while foraging, escaping predators, and migrating.
